Ellen developed a love and passion for Spotsy Dog Park that continues to this day.

Vice President
Kim Markulis
Kim Markulis, a longtime resident of Spotsylvania County, found Spotsy Dog Park in the early summer of 2020. She began volunteering in 2021 and has served as the Vice President for Spotsy Dog Park since late 2023. As an Activities Director, she is passionate about creating fun and engaging activities and events for dogs and their two-legged companions that support the park's mission. Her volunteer passions extend over to her family, where her fiancé, Adam, and son, Jacob, are active volunteers for the park. He discovered the park in 2024 while searching for a welcoming place for his dog, Dak, to socialize and play, and quickly found it to be the perfect fit. Inspired by the park's upkeep and the dedication of its volunteers, Bob chose to get involved by first volunteering at fundraising and event tables to support the park's mission. He previously worked for the federal government where he enjoyed supporting the Marine Corps. Bob and his wife currently reside in Spotsylvania County.

Website Coordinator

Liz moved to Spotsylvania County in 2024 and, shortly after, discovered Spotsy Dog Park and began volunteering as their website coordinator. As an auditor who spends her workdays focused on numbers, she finds joy in having a creative outlet while simultaneously supporting the local dog park. She also has two small dogs, Blossom (pictured) and Cosmo, who love the park as much as she does. In addition to her dogs, her pets also include a blue-tongue skink, hamster, and crested gecko.
